This month’s puzzle set is inspired by Alaska and its vast wilderness. In last month’s poll, Alaska edged out the Scottish Highlands by a single vote, making it another close contest. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to vote.
I’ve never been to Alaska, but while researching this month’s theme I learned that August is the only summer month when visitors have a chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis.

For some reason, August feels like a month for reading. What am I saying? Every month is a month for reading, but reading in August feels different than reading in September.
